Welcome to the wild ride that is my first ita bag!

I want to use updates to show off features of both the folio and dice bag and also to answer any questions y'all may have! So please don't hesitate to comment on these updates. I promise I'm refreshing the page every five minutes. Haha.

Also watch for polls!

The folio and dice bag each come with one/one set of inserts. Once additional colors are unlocked, you'll have the opportunity to select which color you want for your bag!

So vote now - what should be the base unlock insert color?

Testing out the Dice Bag
5 months ago – Thu, Apr 09, 2026 at 09:48:50 AM

Hey folks!

I got the opportunity to visit a bunch of friends at Sakuracon this past weekend, and I took the dice bag out for a stress test.

Here's how it handled!

I had the bag secured to my belt with a carabiner, hooked through one of the three zipper pulls. This was surprisingly successful. I don't wear/use bags, so I was very concerned about this thing hanging off my body and being in the way. It wasn't! At all! It sat flat against me, and the up-facing zipper was accessible and opened widely enough to allow me to stuff pins and other small trinkets inside.

This bag suffered a lot of abuse this weekend. If it wasn't clipped to me, it was clipped to my backpack - which found its way under my friend's table. So it got kicked around a little. And I stuffed it full. Full-full. Like many of you, I wanted to know just how much this bag could hold.

So as you can see above - you can't really tell this thing was kicked around or scraping across dirty convention floors! The bottom of the bag shows no wear. So it's holding up to a good amount of use! Zippers and seams were also put to the test. Look at that thing bulge! (Once I emptied the bag, it went back to its original shape.)

Would you believe this isn't my entire Sakuracon haul? ^^;  At least it's a good visualization of how much you can fit in this thing!

All in all, I think it was a successful test run! Here's some specs and notes on the bag -

  • Each panel is 5"x5"x5" so you can do your fancy math to see how much volume that actually is XD
  • Pictured with three different colored panels - it'll come with one color, voted on by backers. This is just for color testing. Additional colors will be stretch goal unlocks.
  • Pictured with a simple caribiner. This was for my own use. Just forgot to remove it prior to taking photos. Oops!
  • Inserts are PU leather. As you can see in the photos, pins go all the way through and are secured by pin backs. In the final version, these inserts will be thicker, so pins do not go all the way through, meaning both sides can be used.
  • Inserts are secured by PU leather strap sections that are stitched in. In the final version, these will be replaced with elastic bands to better accomodate the thicker inserts and hold the inserts in place better.
  • In the first photo, you can see into the bag from the top down. This opening has been tested with standard sized dice. I've shaken the bag upside down and nothing falls out. :)

That's it for this update!
The Bag Bazaar launches next month!

Next update, I'll do a deep dive into the folio!

Feel free to hit me with any questions! <3

Sample Photos!

The Itafolio and Dice Bag launch this May! 🎲

I need to sit down and take some good official photos, but I'm really excited about this development and wanted to share with all of you! I have fully functioning samples of both the Itafolio and the Ita Dice Bag.

Before you enjoy a photo-dump, I want to outline what's final in these designs, and what's planned to change/subject to change between this sample and the final product.

Itafolio
  • Design is finalized! There will be no changes between the interior or exterior of this bag (folio? binder?).
  • There will be a slight edit to reinforce where the handle meets the spine of the folio. Nothing has broken in testing, but it doesn't feel as solid as I'd like. This is a structural change and shouldn't result in any cosmetic changes.
  • Color of the folio and details is finalized.
  • Colors for inserts are tests only! Final colors will be determined by backers.

Ita Dice Bag
  • Design is finalized! No cosmetic changes will be made.
  • Zippers will be extended by an extra half inch.
    • I've tested the bag with standard sized dice. Held the bag upside down and shook. Nothing came out! However, I do fear that smaller dice may fall out the top. So we'll be cinching the top a little tighter just to ensure that doesn't happen.
  • Color of the dice bag is finalized.
  • Color for inserts are tests only! Final colors will be determined by backers.

Other notes/Pre-FAQs
  • Colorways will not be offered
    • My manu cannot split an order by color. If you desperately want one of these bags in not-black, then I humbly ask that you make this campaign go viral so we can afford that. 😂
  • Pins will be available
    • I'll be reprising some previous dice pins in addition to an all-new pin design exclusive to this campaign.
  • Other rewards
    • Since there are so many zippers, I'm also planning a small keychain add-on.
  • Stretch Goals
    • Stretch goals will prioritize unlocking colorways of inserts. I've already themed my folio for ongoing Pathfinder and Starfinder campaigns, and I'm sure y'all will want to as well!

I'm posting this as an update instead of a launch email, so y'all can ask questions or provide feedback. I've been working on these designs for a while, and I'm really excited about them. I hope you are, too!

In my next update, I'll outline all the features of each bag! Stay tuned! <3
