I did a silly thing.

I checked the poll results, and it was an even split between what I called ice blue and lilac. But then my wife asked: "Aren't those the same colors?" No, no, I replied. I definitely sampled three distinct colors for both the folio and dice bag.

Yeah, that was a lie. I liked this color so much, I sampled it for both inserts, months apart, without realizing. I really intended to do something more blue, yet here I am. Go ahead and laugh.

That means this icy blue purple color handily won the vote with a total 54% of the vote and, as of the 5k goal, insert color options are black or icy blue purple.

A new poll is up to determine the next color unlock! (Don't worry, I double checked, and they're all actually distinct colors.) Like last time, this will close at 7am Pacific tomorrow.

Hey backers!!

We've passed 6k in funding which means:

• I'm no longer paying in-bound shipping out of pocket 🥹
• I'm no longer paying for pin production out of pocket 😭
• folio and dice bag inserts come in three color variations
• All-in backers will receive three sets of inserts for each ita item

Black won the poll for the first insert color. The poll for option #2 is now live. (I'm announcing a second poll below, and I can't link both. So check out that polls tab on the campaign!)

We're very close to reaching our 7k goal, which will unlock a fourth color option, and gift Marachi's dice bag inserts to all dice bag pledges! I wasn't provided artwork for folio inserts, so folios will come with two inserts of your color choice. :)

With so much time left in the campaign, we have the opportunity to hit more stretch goals. What do you hope to see? There's a poll up with some options, or comment what you want to see!

Finally - I've flirted with the idea of adding a strap to the folio so it can be worn like a bag. There's hardware on the handle, so it can support a crossbody strap. Should this be added as an add-on? There's an interest check poll up! Lemme know.

Funded in just two and a half hours! Holy cow!

First of all, a hearty thank you! I was feeling a lot of nerves leading up to this launch. I've never been in the fashion space before, and despite my background in comics - that's still a far cry from the TTRPG space. I went into this not knowing a lick of what I needed to do. I just wanted to create something *I* wanted. And I'm sure as heck glad that's resonating with so many of you!

I want to give a couple call outs!

1) Cross collab freebies!
Do not sleep on backing my collab partner. First off, a holster ita bag? Gurl, please. (I already backed for one.) Second, now that we're both funded, those cross collab freebies are in-play. Backers who support both Marachi and myself will receive free illustrated window inserts, meaning those backers are starting out with TWO inserts instead of one. (Or four, because two bags :D) Please do note that pin-only backers will get a free sticker instead.



2) Stretch Goal Voting
Since we're creeping up on the first stretch goal, I want to call your attention to the polls portion of the community tab. This is where we're voting on insert colors. Right now, black is in the lead for the base goal. A new poll will launch in that one concludes, allowing folks to vote on unlock color #2. Any insert colors you see in the photo gallery are fair game. So plan your votes accordingly!

3) Stretch Goals + The All-in Tier
I mean for this all-in tier to be truly all-in. Every unlock will be automatically added for all-in backers. So when we hit 5k, folio and bag backers will have a choice of color for their one insert. All-in backers will just have the second insert added. If a new pin design is sponsored, this pin will be added to the full set pledge and all-in backers. The all-in tier already holds a lot of value, and I'm looking forward to seeing just how far we can push that.

Hey folks!

I got the opportunity to visit a bunch of friends at Sakuracon this past weekend, and I took the dice bag out for a stress test.

Here's how it handled!



I had the bag secured to my belt with a carabiner, hooked through one of the three zipper pulls. This was surprisingly successful. I don't wear/use bags, so I was very concerned about this thing hanging off my body and being in the way. It wasn't! At all! It sat flat against me, and the up-facing zipper was accessible and opened widely enough to allow me to stuff pins and other small trinkets inside.

This bag suffered a lot of abuse this weekend. If it wasn't clipped to me, it was clipped to my backpack - which found its way under my friend's table. So it got kicked around a little. And I stuffed it full. Full-full. Like many of you, I wanted to know just how much this bag could hold. 

Would you believe this isn't my entire Sakuracon haul? ^^;  At least it's a good visualization of how much you can fit in this thing!

All in all, I think it was a successful test run! Here's some specs and notes on the bag -

• Each panel is 5"x5"x5" so you can do your fancy math to see how much volume that actually is XD
• Pictured with three different colored panels - it'll come with one color, voted on by backers. This is just for color testing. Additional colors will be stretch goal unlocks. 
• Pictured with a simple caribiner. This was for my own use. Just forgot to remove it prior to taking photos. Oops!
• Inserts are PU leather. As you can see in the photos, pins go all the way through and are secured by pin backs. In the final version, these inserts will be thicker, so pins do not go all the way through, meaning both sides can be used. 
• Inserts are secured by PU leather strap sections that are stitched in. In the final version, these will be replaced with elastic bands to better accomodate the thicker inserts and hold the inserts in place better. 
• In the first photo, you can see into the bag from the top down. This opening has been tested with standard sized dice. I've shaken the bag upside down and nothing falls out. :)
